This is a list of books that I own. The list is not complete. There are still a number of books I have not read or got around to getting my hands on.
If you feel like contribution to this list let me know.

The (Standard) Handbook of Telescope making.
                      by Neale Howard
Out of print and hard to get but my favourite. Tackles the subject with the novice in mind.
Makes it all look dead easy. Which it is. Nearly  :-)

            Amateur Telescope Making
Edited by Albert Ingalls, Amateur Telescope Making 1, 2 and 3
This classic trio got it all started. Although aging, this trio has been revamped for the 1990's
and is literally jam packed with information that's as revalant today as it was 50 years ago.

            Star Testing Astronomical Telescopes
                      by Richard Suiter
Well, it'd be nice to know how to test drive your freshly made telescope (or any telescope for that matter)
wouldn't it ? Are the optics any good? Are the features on Jupiters always that blurred or is the seeing just
bad tonight ? This invaluable and authoritative book will tell you how to tell your mirror/telescope from
a lemon. Buy this book. You won't regret it.
